Thierry Chervel
Thierry Chervel, born 1957 in Paris, is a German journalist. After studies of Musicology in Berlin (West) he was editor on the cultural pages of the Tageszeitung. In 1995 he was appointed cultural correspondent in Paris by the Sueddeutsche Zeitung and was editor on the cultural pages of this newspaper in Berlin. In 2000 he founded, together with three colleagues, the online magazine Perlentaucher.de, which is still the most read cultural magazine in the German speaking internet.
