Spundge is a collaborative instrument which allows online content – articles, tweets, videos – to be aggregated into a single stream. Content considered interesting in relation to a given topic is collected in a notebook. Users register to access this content and follow any updates. From today on the website of the International Journalism Festival you’ll find a notebook dedicated to the hot media topic of the moment, containing articles and multimedia material with regular updates.
Twitter and war is our first notebook, focusing on the deployment of Twitter (and other social media) by a nation state during wartime. This choice of topic stems from the unprecedented use of Twitter by the Israel Defense Forces during the current conflict in Gaza.
