In the age of the selfie, the idea of drawing portraits of ijf14 speakers might seem a little anachronistic. But let’s be honest: we still like to have our portraits done and we are generally curious to see how others see us.
With this thought, the illustrator Gianluca Costantini begins the description of his Portraits of Journalists project. Gianluca has drawn portraits of some of the international speakers who will take part in this year’s festival. The portraits have been placed on a map to show at a glance where the speakers will come from. More portraits will be added as we move towards the start of the festival on 30 April.
