Presentation of Etalia
Etalia is a web-based platform which aims to transform the consumption and production of news by focusing on the interests of the user. The online services of Etalia allow the user to construct his own newspaper by aggregating content from major publishers but also from blogs and independent authors. Thanks to advanced editorial tools, the user can in turn publish his content making it available to millions of other navigators. Etalia reinvigorates the mechanisms of the editorial process by paying the authors and all those who bring value to the news item, with the aim of supporting and promoting quality news.
Following three years of research, the input of the most important players in the sector and months of reserved-access experimentation, Etalia will open up access to the general public during the International Journalism Festival with this exclusive event presented by Aldo Daghetta, co-founder of Etalia.

Workshops are free entry but registration is required. Each workshop will have a limited number of participants. The workshop registration form will be put on the website soon. Workshop registration will begin on 15 March 2012.
