In Italy, those looking for innovation in journalism, especially digital, usually drink at the source of the Anglo-Saxon media. Therefore, the effect is that what happens very close to us, just beyond the Alps, is ignored. In France, for example, in the last few years very innovative and original projects have been set up, with bold and often successful economic and organizational models. Among these, Mediapart, La Revue Dessinée and Altermondes represent three examples of complementary independent journalism little known in Italy, but which merit attention.
