Andrea Marinelli is a freelance journalist who writes about American stories for the Italian daily Corriere della Sera and co-founder of Peninsula Hotel, an online interactive magazine designed to collect the stories of the people who were able to re-invent Made in Italy. Born in Perugia in 1982, he worked for America24, the US website of Il Sole 24 Ore, and wrote for il manifesto, Libero, Rivista Studio, IL, RAI 3, Radio 3 e Rsi. He is the author of two books (and an half): L'ospite (2012), written while he was following on the road the 2012 US presidential election and Justice ha due padri (2013) on how the United States prepared for the Supreme Court judgement on same-sex marriage.
