Fernanda Faini

Fernanda Faini is responsible for legal and legislation assistance in the field of digital administration, technological innovation and open government at the Tuscany Regional Council. She collaborates in the disciplinary field of Law and new technologies at the University of Bologna (CIRSFID) and in the teaching of Legal Informatics at the University of Florence.

She is lecturer in university courses and masters, author of publications, member of scientific committees and member of the program committee of the international scientific conferences ECDG (European Conference on Digital Government) and ICDS (International Conference on Digital Society and eGovernments). Member of the Editorial Board of the international scientific journal Ciberspazio e diritto and of the journal Il Documento Digitale. Responsible National eGov Law - Research area of eGov Laboratory of the University of Salento. Author of updating articles in newspapers and legal journals. Member of the Artificial Intelligence Task Force promoted by AgID and member of the Big Data Committee of ISTAT.

She has been President of the national association Circolo dei Giuristi Telematici since 2016 and a member of the national associations in the field of legal informatics and computer law (SIFD, ANDIG, SIIG).

She is the co-author with Stefano Pietropaoli of the book Scienza giuridica e tecnologie informatiche (Giappichelli, 2017).
