Frederike Kaltheuner is interested in human relationships to technology; their past, their present, and conventionally accepted visions of their future. As a researcher at the University of Amsterdam, she is part of the DATACTIVE collective. The group investigates how civil society learns to live with, utilized and tries to resist massive data collection. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam School of Cultural Analysis.
