Maeve Patterson
Maeve Patterson joined Amnesty International's European Institutions Office in October 2013. She is the head of the media and communications section.
Before joining Amnesty International, Maeve worked for the United Kingdom government for eight years. She held a range of policy, communications and advisory posts at the United Kingdom Permanent Representation to the EU, and the British Embassy Brussels. She led on strategic communications at the United Kingdom Joint Delegation to NATO. Before entering government, Maeve worked at the EU's Committee of the Regions.
Maeve holds a BA in French Language & Literature from the University of Sussex, and a MA in International Relations from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles. She has also lived, worked and studied in Chile, La Reunion, Barcelona, Dusseldorf and Stockholm.
