Steffen Konrath has a background in computer science and marketing and more than 16 years experience in the digital and mobile industry, holding various management positions throughout the years. In 2012, he started to investigate the future of news and launched Liquid Newsroom, a real-time news curation platform which allows real-time news to be fetched and to be distributed via major channels. It creates blueprints of information sources, for example to increase the validity and report faster during crises. The interactive model and transparent newsroom idea disrupts the news production process. The project has already been covered by Trendbüro, PBS Mediashift, DRadio Wissen and many more.
