Colin Bortner
Colin Bortner is Director of Global Public Policy for Netflix. Since joining the company in 2011, he has advocated for policies that preserve and promote diversity, growth, and consumer choice in the media and Internet ecosystems. As part of his role at Netflix, he has represented the company in discussions with governments on every continent except Antarctica.
Prior to joining Netflix, Colin worked at Monument Policy Group, a boutique Washington, D.C. consulting firm, and the United States Congress. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Linguistics from the University of Rochester.
