Michele Azzu

Michele Azzu is a freelance journalist writing mainly on work issues, society and culture. He writes for the Italian weekly L'Espresso and fanpage.it. In 2010 he co-founded with Marco Nurra the website Redundancy Island, of which he remains the editor. He won the 2011 Google-supported Digital Heretics award and the 2012 Premio dello Zuccherificio award for investigative journalism. He is the co-author with Marco Nurra of Asinara Revolution (Bompiani, 2011). You can see his work on The Guardian's comment is free.
