The #ijf23 Side Events programme is now online. Social gatherings (drinks receptions, dinners, etc) and work-related meetups (of various kinds) are listed. The intention is to indicate to festival attendees and speakers what’s going on off-programme and to provide off-programme event organisers with an effective way of communicating with the festival community.
Organisers of 2023 side events include the following: Bonn Institute, Committee to Protect Journalists, European Journalism Centre, European Press Prize, Global Investigative Journalism Network, Human Rights Watch, International Center for Journalists, International Press Institute, Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, Solutions Journalism Network, Sparknews, Splice and The Guardian.
If you wish to have your event included in the Side Events programme, write to Chris by close of Tuesday 18 April with the following info:

> time and date
> title of event
> brief description of event
> whether the event is open to all or by invitation only
> who it’s organised by
> contact info
> anything else which comes to mind
