Digital journalism and (new) rights - Defamation, trolling, hate speech and harmful content

New technology has resulted in new types of discussion around online news, often not strictly related to the subject in hand; ferocious political debate, personal attacks, trolling and 360° off-topic considerations. This workshop will consider the fine line between illegal abuse and the full right to express one’s views publicly to the world online.
