Embedded journalists along the paths of the spirit

A rediscovery of ancient pilgrimage routes – for example that of St Jacques to Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain – has occured in recent years. Thousands of people, of all ages and faiths, have set out on foot for a host of differing and often very personal reasons. The media have kept pace, chronicling this significant “new” cultural and spriritual experience. The panel brings together journalists who have followed - on radio, TV and in print - these modern pilgrims.
