This panel has a very specific goal: to bring together researchers who have studied news coverage of a very sensitive issue such as corruption and journalists who will have to comment on the results of the research.

The comparison will focus on the presentation of the results of a European research project (www.anticorrp.eu) which involved researchers from the University of Perugia and was aimed at identifying how corruption is reported by the Italian media in comparison to other European media. The result is already evident from the title given to this panel: a one-sided story.

Organised by the Department of Political Science, University of Perugia.
