Are you curious about how data is shaping journalism? What are the latest trends in the field? The new edition of the Data Journalism Handbook (2019) is looking at new and innovative ways in which data is analysed, created and used in the context of journalism. And beyond that: it also reflects on the social, cultural, political and economic circumstances in which data journalism is embedded.

We have invited three authors of the book to meet you: Christina Elmer, Paul Bradshaw and Lindsay Green-Barber. They wrote about algorithmic reporting, data journalism with impact and how to measure impact beyond clicks and shares.

Come and participate in an interactive exercise to critically think about data journalism in today's data-heavy society.

Organised in association with the European Journalism Centre.
