Bartosz Węglarczyk is a Polish political journalist with extensive experience as a commentator on national and international events. He has been Programming Director of Onet.pl since March 2016.

Previously, he was foreign editor of Gazeta Wyborcza, for which he worked for many years, with spells as bureau chief in Moscow, Brussels and Washington. He also worked as editor of the monthly magazine Sukces and deputy editor of the daily newspaper Rzeczpospolita. He presented the programmes Świat Według Węglarczyka and Słoń weekly news analysis for the Superstacja TV station and presented the weekend edition of the morning programme Dzień Dobry TVN from 2008 to 2016.

He has won three prestigious awards; the 1999 Polish Journalists Association’s Kazimierz Dziewanowski Award for Foreign Coverage (for coverage of the Polish campaign to join NATO), the 2009 Independent Students MediaTory Award Nomination for TV Personality and the 2011 Wiktor Award Nomination for TV Discovery.
