Christopher Stokes

Christopher Stokes is currently the General Director of the Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors Without Borders’ (MSF) Operational Centre Brussels and MSF Belgium. He studied Political Science in Brussels and holds a Masters degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics. He joined MSF in 1993 and worked in the field until 2001 in conflicts and emergencies, including Azerbaijan, Rwanda, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Kosovo, East Timor, Lebanon and Angola before becoming MSF Director of Operations and then General Secretary of MSF International in Geneva.
