Dell Cameron is a senior writer at WIRED, covering technology law and regulation with an eye on privacy, surveillance, and content moderation.

Previously, Cameron was at Gizmodo until January 2023 covering tech policy and national security. Prior to that he worked at The Daily Dot covering cybercrime, national security and surveillance. In 2022 he was awarded the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting for his work on police use of “crime prediction” software. He has also won two Society of Professional Journalists national awards for his reporting.
