Inga Springe

Inga Springe is an award-winning Latvian investigative journalist, broadcaster and co-founder of the non-profit Baltic investigative journalism center Re:Baltica. In 2010/2011, as a Fulbright/Humphrey scholar, Springe spent a year in the University of Maryland, working as an intern in The Washington Post and US non-profit investigative journalism organization The Center for Public Integrity. In 2014 Springe was named as one of the “outstanding challengers from Central and Eastern Europe” in the project NewEurope100 supported by Google and The Financial Times. She has been the head of the Latvian Journalists Association and is co-teaching Media literacy at the Stockholm School of Economy based in Riga (SSE Riga). Springe spent the autumn of 2018 at the Harriman Institute at Columbia University to create a media management program at SSE Riga.
