Michael Sontheimer was one of the founders of the German newspaper Die Tageszeitung (taz), was an editor at Spiegel and Zeit, and now works as a freelance journalist and historian. Michael is a member of the board of trustees of the taz Panter Foundation and the executive board of the Ellsberg Whistleblower Award.
