Priyanka Borpujari has been a journalist for 12 years and has been reporting on issues of human rights from different corners of India, El Salvador, and Indonesia. Her work has appeared in various international and Indian news publications. She was named the 2012-2013 IWMF Elizabeth Neuffer Fellow to recognize her journalism covering issues of forceful acquisition of land owned by indigenous peoples. In 2013, she walked across India with Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Paul Salopek, on his 21,000-mile Out of Eden Walk.
