Ska Keller

co-president Greens/EFA Group European Parliament

Ska Keller is co-president of the Greens/EFA Group in the European Parliament and a member of the party council for Bündnis90/Die Grünen in Germany. She was the leading candidate for the European Greens during the European elections in 2014. During her second term in the European Parliament, Ska is currently a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, where she is fighting for refugees' and migrants' rights, as well as a solidarity-based European asylum system. Ska is also a member of the EU Parliament’s Turkey and Mexico delegations. She was born in Guben, Germany, studied in Berlin and Istanbul, and has previously been active for the German Greens and the Federation of Young European Greens.
