Clark Bentson has worked for the American Broadcasting Company (ABC NEWS) for 29 years, reporting from over 130 countries as a producer for international coverage. He has covered numerous revolutions and conflict zones including the Somalia civil war, the breakup of the Soviet Union and the Russian coups, the Bosnian war, the Rwanda genocide, the Iraq wars, Sierra Leone, Syria, and the Ukraine. Additionally, he has reported from some of the world’s worst disasters, including the Southeast Asian tsunami, the Kobe earthquake, and famine in the Sahel. Along the way he has produced interviews with presidents, prime ministers, and royalty, but feels the best stories always come from those men and women just trying to cope.
