Claudio Regeni is the father of Giulio Regeni, the Italian PhD student at the University of Cambridge who was kidnapped, tortured and murdered in Egypt between January and February 2016. Since then, he and his family have been fighting to get the truth about the death of Giulio. He is the co-author with Paola Deffendi and Alessandra Ballerini of Giulio fa cose (2020).
