Jonathan Price
Jonathan Price is a media and human rights barrister at Doughty Street Chambers, and part of Mr Lai’s international legal team. He has worked on many cases involving the rights of journalists, both domestically in the UK and internationally. He is a consultative expert to the Council of Europe on matters relating to freedom of expression and the protection of journalists, and is an associate lecturer at King’s College London and Goldsmiths College. Jonathan has been involved in many of the recent landmark domestic media law cases in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court of the United Kingdom, and he is instructed in a number of high profile appeals to the European Court of Human Rights in matters concerning Article 10 ECHR.
