Justin Myers

Justin Myers is the news automation editor at the Associated Press. Before joining the AP in March 2015, he worked as a data journalist at The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Chronicle of Philanthropy and the PBS NewsHour. He works with the AP's other journalists to streamline common reporting and production tasks, either by using existing solutions from other companies or by writing the necessary software himself. Justin holds two degrees from the University of Missouri: a BS in electrical engineering and a Bachelor of Journalism with a concentration in newspaper editing and design. His research areas were the fabrication of microelectromechanical systems and the cognitive and emotional processing of online media.
