Luigi De Magistris
Luigi de Magistris is the mayor of Naples. He was an investigating magistrate from 1993 to 2008 in Catanzaro and Naples before embarking on a political career. In 2009 he was elected to the European Parliament for the Italia dei Valori party and in 2011 he was elected the mayor of Naples, winning the final run-off with 65,37% of votes cast. He is the author of Giustizia e potere (2009), Assalto al pm (2010) and La Costituzione e noi (2011).
