Misha Glenny is a former central Europe correspondent for the Guardian and the BBC. His books include McMafia: A Journey Through the Global Criminal Underworld (2008), DarkMarket: Cyberthieves, Cybercops and You (2011) and Nemesis: One Man and the Battle for Rio (2015).
McMafia (2018), an eight-part drama series produced by the BBC and distributed by Amazon, is based on Glenny’s 2008 book.
