Simone Alliva writes about political news and civil rights. He contributes to L’Espresso, Esquire Italia, La Stampa. He is the author of several surveys for L’Espresso, including L’Italia è omofoba, winner of the 2020 Diversity Media Awards. In 2017, for HuffPost Italia, he was the first in Italy to write about the persecution of homosexuals in Chechnya. For the book Fuori i nomi! he won the Premio Fuori!
