Vittorio Fineschi is Professor of Forensic Medicine at the University La Sapienza of Rome and is in charge of Legal Medicine and Risk Management Sant'Andrea Hospital in Rome. He was previously Professor of Forensic Medicine at the University of Foggia. He served as an expert witness for the Cucchi family in the trial over the death of Stefano Cucchi.
