Many Italian journalists have no job. Many others work as journalists but have no contract, no job security and not much hope of ever getting either. Talent. expertise, diligence can count for surprisingly little in determining who’s in and who’s out. A second annual gathering of the so-called giornalisti precari, an opportunity perhaps to channel some of the widespread disappointment, disillusionment and anger into something constructive.
Representatives of the Ordine Nazionale dei Giornalisti and the Federazione Nazionale della Stampa Italiana will take part. The event will be coordinated by Vittorio Pasteris and Ciro Pellegrino.
