In the latest statistics by the National Outcomes Survey, in 2018 at least three-quarters of journalism graduates failed to land a job in the news industry. That is a bit worrying, but we can assure you, getting a job in journalism can be hard work but not impossible. We come from three different regions of the world: Africa, South Asia/Middle East and Central Asia, and if we made it, you can make it.

In this session, we will discuss tangible steps that every graduate needs to take in order to land a job as a journalist/reporter, or better yet even start a company. This discussion will include direct conversation with the attendees after our little talk on what we've done to achieve our goal in this field.
