Amelia Hill

The Guardian

Amelia Hill is special investigations correspondent of The Guardian in London. She worked at the British Sunday newspaper The Observer from 2000 to 2010, and has worked for The Guardian for the past year as an investigative reporter. She specialises in gaining inside access to normally confidential situations such as courts, hospitals, prisons and international institutions, as well as social work, family therapy, probation and police. She broke the Milly Dowler phone hacking story along with investigative journalist Nick Davies. Hill also broke the Sarah Payne story and that News International, the main UK subsidiary of News Corp., attempted to delete emails relating to the scandal.
