Annika Joeres
Annika Joeres is climate and environment reporter of the German non-profit independent newsroom CORRECTIV which does investigative journalism in the public interest.
Annika deals with environmental issues at CORRECTIV from the south of France, often across borders. She has received several nominations and prizes, including the Franco-German journalist prize, for her research on climate-damaging money invested by the federal states and on rising sea levels worldwide. She used to be deputy head of the taz in North Rhine-Westphalia, later correspondent for the Frankfurter Rundschau and Berliner Zeitung in Düsseldorf. In addition to her work for CORRECTIV, she also writes as a freelance author for Die Zeit and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, among others.
