Antonio Nicita is the commissioner of AGCom, the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority. He is also professor of Macroeconomics at the University of Rome. He has been a member of the board of the publisher Il Mulino and of the Centre for Media Pluralism and Media Freedom. He has contributed to Il Sole 24 Ore,Il Riformista, Il Fatto Quotidiano, La Repubblica, Nel Merito and lavoce.info. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Siena.
