Antonio Scala
Antonio Scala is a researcher at the CNR Institute of Complex Systems and member of the London Institute for Mathematical Sciences. He graduated in Physics and Cybernetics and obtained his PhD in Statistical Physics at Boston University. On return to Rome he enrolled in the graduate school of Operations Research and Decision Making Strategies. He then focussed his attention on the application of Complexity Theory to Critical Infrastructures organizing international workshops and conferences on the subject. He has recently begun a fruitful collaboration with Walter Quattrociocchi on the study of the dynamics of news on social media.
