Carlo Lucarelli is an award-winning journalist, author, TV&radio presenter and screenwriter. His books have been translated and published outside Italy. Two of his characters, police inspectors Coliandro and De Luca, have made it onto the small screen. He is the author of numerous novels and works of non-fiction, including Laura di Rimini (2001), La mattanza (2004), L’ispettore Coliandro (2009), Il genio criminale (2010) written with Massimo Picozzi, Acqua in bocca (2011) written with Andrea Camilleri, Giudici (2011) written with Andrea Camilleri and Giancarlo De Cataldo, PPP. Pasolini, Un Segreto Italiano (2015), Il tempo delle iene (2015) and in 2017 Intrigo italiano (Einaudi) and L'estate torbida (Einaudi).
