Chelsea Spieker is a founding member at Media Pioneer, a Berlin-based start-up founded by journalist and author Gabor Steingart - which is being honored by the European Digital Publishing Awards 2020 as European Start-up of the Year.
Chelsea hosts the weekly podcast The Americans and is also stand-in presenter for Germany’s leading news and business podcast Steingart's Morning Briefing. In addition, she is responsible for overseeing the creation of The Pioneer One, a new, 40-meter-long media ship which will function as the company’s floating work and event location starting in May 2020.
Chelsea was previously part of the editorial department at Handelsblatt Global Edition. She holds a degree in International Affairs and German Language and Literature from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.
