Claudia Astarita teaches the Politics of China at John Cabot University and works on the monitoring of the India geographic area for CeMiSS. She writes on Asia for East, Panorama, panorama.it, Economy and Il Secolo XIX. She worked for many years as a researcher in New Delhi and in Hong Kong. She holds a doctorate in Asian Studies from Hong Kong University.
