Claudia Cucchiarato writes for the Italian dailies La Repubblica, L’Unità and Il Sole 24 Ore. After earning a degree in Media Studies at the University of Bologna, she moved to Barcelona where she began to write also for the Catalan daily La Vanguardia. She is the author of Vivo altrove. Giovani e senza radici: gli emigranti italiani di oggi (2010) and the producer of the documentary Vivo altrove (I live elsewhere) based on the book.
