Corey Powell
Corey S. Powell is an award-winning science writer and editor who recently co-founded OpenMind magazine, a forum for popular but serious analysis of science controversies and misinformation. Corey has collaborated with Bill Nye on their joint podcast, Science Rules; a series of best-selling science books; and the TV series Bill Nye Saves the World and The End is Nye. As an editor, Corey ran Discover and American Scientist magazines, was the science editor at Aeon magazine, and was a member of the Board of Editors at Scientific American. As a journalist, he contributes to publications from The Wall Street Journal to Popular Science. In his spare time, he also maintains a leading science Twitter feed called, simply, @coreyspowell.
