Corrado Giustozzi

National Security Observatory

Corrado Giustozzi has more than 25 years of experience in information security as a consultant, manager, university professor and opinion leader. He is a member of the Permanent Stakeholders' Group at ENISA, of the National Security Observatory at Ce.Mi.S.S. (Military Center for Strategic Studies) and of the Committee of Wise Men at ANORC (Associazione Nazionale per Operatori e Responsabili della Conservazione digitale).

As a professional scientific journalist, often featured in many radio and television programmes, he has always been active in popularizing the issues of computer security and digital citizenship. In the late 1990s he was founder and editor-in-chief of the Italian edition of BYTE magazine (McGraw-Hill, USA). He has authored four books and more than 1.000 articles.

His specialties are cryptography and data protection, information security in complex organizations, digital forensics, cybercrime and cyberterrorism, cyber intelligence and counterintelligence, homeland security and protection of critical infrastructures, socio-cultural issues and risks in the digital society.
