Diletta Huyskes

Diletta Huyskes graduated in Philosophy and is a PhD student in Digital Sociology at the University of Milan with a project on gender, feminism and artificial intelligence. She is the Advocacy Manager and part of the Board of Directors of Privacy Network, an association created for the protection of digital and fundamental rights, with which she recently launched the Automated Administration Observatory.

She worked at the Bruno Kessler Foundation in Trento as a research assistant on the subject of ethics and data protection and is responsible for the communication activities of Algocount, a research project of the Statale, Politecnico di Milano and Fondazione Cariplo to investigate the perception of algorithms in society and their role in shaping public opinion. Diletta studies artificial intelligence and new technologies from an ethical and political perspective, focusing on gender inequalities and the use of algorithms and software to automate decision-making processes in the public sphere.
