Federico Cafiero De Raho

national anti-mafia prosecutor

Federico Cafiero De Raho has been the Italian national Anti-Mafia and Counter-Terrorism Public Prosecutor since November 2017. He was first prosecutor in Milan, then for 22 years in Naples, where he conducted numerous investigations against the Camorra, in particular against the Casalesi clan. His name is linked in particular to the Spartacus trial, resulting from the statements of the first real collaborator of justice Carmine Schiavone. He then moved in 2013 to the top of the Reggio Calabria public prosecutor's office, where he coordinated the investigations that led to the capture of 'ndrangheta fugitives, some of whom had evaded capture for about 20 years.
