Franco Siddi is secretary general of the National Federation of the Italian Press. He was appointed in 2007. He worked previously as a journalist for the Sardinian publications La Nuova Sardegna, L'Unione Sarda and Il Lavoratore Sardo. He is the editor of La conquista della libertà. Il giornalismo italiano da Amendola alla Liberazione (2008).
