Gianni Pacinotti, better known as Gipi, is an award-winning Italian cartoonist and illustrator. He is the author and illustrator of Esterno notte (2003), Appunti per una storia di guerra (2004), Questa è la stanza (2005), La mia vita disegnata male (2008), Unastoria (2013) and La terra dei figli (2016).
