Giulio Casale co-founded the rock band Estra in 1991. In 2004 he switched to theatre, including a period working with Giorgio Gaber. His most significant shows have been Illusi d'esistenza (2005), Polli d'allevamento (2006), La canzone di Nanda (2009) and The beat goes on (2010). He is the author of Se ci fosse un uomo.
