Lola Garcia-Ajofrin
Lola García-Ajofrín is a multimedia journalist from Spain with 15 years of experience. She currently works as a senior reporter at Outriders, a collective of journalists using innovative formats to cover global issues. Lola has reported from several of the world's capitals. She has reported for a variety of outlets, including El Pais, El Confidencial, El Mundo, La Información and Telecinco. She is the author of the book Gigantes de la educación (Fundación Telefónica, 2017), which systematically documents strategies utilized by teachers within eleven countries. In 2015, Lola received the Manuel Alcántara award, which is an international prize for reporters. In 2021, she was part of the Outriders team which was selected for the 2021 European Press Prize shortlist. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Complutense University of Madrid (2006) and a Master’s Degree in Television Journalism from Rey Juan Carlos University (2007). She is passionate about solutions journalism.
